Portable Pandora Radio

I found this old non-functional radio at a flea market and decide I would give it a little bit more life by turning into a wifi enabled standalone Pandora radio. Using a raspberry pi, some basic hardware and software packages and the PianoBar CLI program, we can turn this old radio into a portable, commercial free Pandora radio that connects to your personal account and allows you to cycle through playlists, favorite channels, skip songs, and all of the basic functionality of a normal Pandora app on your phone or desktop but without commercials? How are there no commercials? Well, the commercials are part of the application you use to access Pandora, but the streaming  API url is a direct pipe connection to content without the application interjecting commercials. And yes, this is free–for now at least.
